What is Harbor of Hope Dog Rescue’s adoption process?

All of our dogs are fully vetted before adoption, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and a microchip. The adoption process consists of an online application, a vet reference, two personal references, and a home visit. If approved to adopt, there is an adoption contract and an adoption amount. The adoption amount goes toward the vetting and care of all the dogs in our rescue. All adoptions will take place in the Omaha NE area and must be done in person. We are willing to adopt to out-of-state applicants, contingent on our ability to complete a home visit, but you must be willing to come to the Omaha area to complete the adoption. We do not ship, transport or deliver our dogs.
