Valentine-Fresno, CA's Story
Location: Fresno, CA

Meet Valentine ("Val")

Val is a beautiful 3-year-old Dalmatian weighing about 55 pounds who is looking for a patient, loving forever home.

When Val first arrived at the shelter, she was absolutely terrified. Thankfully, she's now thriving in foster care and showing everyone what a special girl she truly is.

This sweet, affectionate pup loves cuddling on the couch, soaking up the sunshine, and spending time with her canine friends. She's discovering that toys are fun, fenced yards are amazing, and that life can be pretty wonderful.

Val is naturally very shy and timid with new people. She has no aggression whatsoever when she's scared, she simply tries to avoid what frightens her. She is still learning that leashes, loud noises, and car rides aren't so scary, and she'll need an adopter who understands that building confidence takes time.

She is doing wonderfully with the other Dalmatian in her foster home and would do best with a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes.

She may have a bit of a prey drive, so we are going to say no cats.

Because of her sensitive nature, Val is looking for a quiet home with a securely fenced yard. Apartments and busy city environments would not be a good fit for this gentle girl.

Val does need to eat her meals separately from other dogs, but she's happy to share treats and snacks with her furry friends.

We are recommending no children, as Val is very noise sensitive.

If you're willing to give a shy dog the patience, understanding, and love she deserves, Val will reward you with endless affection and loyal companionship.

Could Valentine be your perfect match?

Please copy & past the link below into your browser for our application:
https://www.jotform.com/form/243374218477059

Questions?
Email us at: info@savethedals.org

**Disclaimer: None of our dogs have been DNA tested, so we cannot guaranty they are 100% full pure breeds.**
