Valentine aka Cali

Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. <br/><br/>Valentine is about 5 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 58 lbs. She was adopted out about 3 1/2 years ago, and her family is getting divorced, leaving Valentine no where to go sadly. She loves walks, she loves toys, she needs toys. She loves other male dogs. She can co exist with cats. She’s loves to cuddle and be around people.  She is housebroken and crate trained in her home. <br/><br/>FROM HER FOSTER: Cali is an incredibly smart and loving German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. She knows her name, sit, and stay—and she’s always eager to please! Cali walks beautifully on leash and loves to stay active, making her the perfect adventure buddy.<br/><br/>At home, Cali is a total sweetheart who adores snuggling up close. She’s a bit of a Velcro dog and loves being near her people, following you from room to room just to be part of the action. Since coming into foster care, she’s already made amazing progress with her separation anxiety and continues to get more confident each day.<br/><br/>Cali is house trained, though like many dogs, she may have a few accidents while adjusting to a new home. She’s also learned what furniture is off-limits (though she might need a gentle reminder now and then).<br/><br/>This girl isn’t a big fan of plain kibble—she’s a bit of a foodie who enjoys her meals more when they’re mixed with a little yogurt, egg, or fresh meat. Cali hasn’t needed a crate in her foster home but does well being left in a closed room when her people are out. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’ll love you endlessly, Cali is your girl. <br/><br/>A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. <br/><br/>If you are interested in Valentine, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event.<br/><br/>This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. <br/><br/>Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. <br/><br/>Foster homes & volunteers are always needed.
