Valentina's Story

This shy, gentle girl is the definition of calm and cozy. Valentina is a low-energy sweetheart who prefers a slow, easy pace to life-think leisurely strolls, quiet companionship, and plenty of time just hanging out near her people.

She may be a little reserved at first, but she enjoys being close and keeping you company. One of her favorite pastimes is sniffing out all the interesting scents around her-she takes her time exploring the world, one smell at a time.

Valentina is housebroken and crate trained, and she's currently working on her leash skills (she's more of a "stop and smell the roses" kind of walker than a power walker). She's not looking to be your running partner, but she'll happily join you for slow strolls and relaxed outings.

She gets along well with other dogs but isn't interested in playtime-she's more of a peaceful coexistence kind of gal. While she hasn't been tested with cats, we suspect she'd do just fine.

Valentina does have a slightly mischievous side and has shown some escape artist tendencies, so a secure environment will be important to keep her safe. She's also working on shedding a few extra pounds to feel her best.

Valentina is looking for a calm, patient home that will give her the time and space to feel safe and loved. In return, you'll get a loyal, low-key companion who's happiest just being by your side.
