Pooches in Pines, INC's Adoption Policy
We strive to match our dogs with families or individuals who are familiar with the breed. Most dogs have a high curiosity and activity level and require lots of attention, training, and exercise! We have the potential families complete an adoption application where we review it after it's received. If we feel the dog is a good match for the adopter, we will schedule a meet and greet with the family and other pet (if necessary). The next step is a home check and another meet and greet at their home with our volunteers to get our dog acquainted and settled in for a "foster to adopt".
