Val's Story
Adoption Pending! <br/>This absolutely beautiful girl is VAL and she's a pure breed Golden Retriever who is 1-2 years old and weighs 51 pounds although ideally, she'll add another 5 pounds or so. We've just rescued her from a Shelter where she was brought in as a stray .....she's a perfect example that amazing dogs can to be rescued from Shelters! Val is such a wonderful girl who has all the qualities that make Goldens so special. She's a lovebug, so sweet, playful, loves everyone she meets and is great with other dogs. She's still young so she has fun energy but there's not an aggressive bone in her body! We brought her to our Vet for a check up and she's healthy and updated on her vaccinations. We just brought her to a great Foster home and we'll be getting lots more pics of her but for now we've posted one photo and 2 videos that show how beautiful and sweet she is. She'll be going back to our Vet to be spayed and chipped on Wednesday (Feb 18th) and after her recovery time, she'll be ready to join her forever family. We want her to have a loving and active family who have a house in the suburbs and a fully fenced in yard so she can play and take snoozes in the backyard. She'll do great with a doggie sibling or as a solo pup as long as she gets love and exercise. She's going to be a very popular girl so we strongly suggest you submit an Application that you can find on the Long Road Home Rescue website (lrhrescue.com). We will loop back with you after we review your Application.
