Uzu's Story
Meet Uzu | Apply to Adopt Me

Uzu (, pronounced Woo-joo), means “universe” in Korean. He is a gentle, 3 year old Korean Mastiff currently thriving in foster care. At 80 pounds, he is a striking and affectionate presence, with a calm, sensitive personality.

Uzu is slowly gaining confidence and learning to trust the world around him. He enjoys walks, sniffing everything in sight, and showing playful behaviors like zoomies and bows once he feels safe. Uzu is food motivated, especially for bananas and sweet potatoes, and interacts well with other dogs in a patient and structured environment.

Uzu would thrive in an adult-only home with an active lifestyle and a warm, understanding family who can give him the space and support he needs.

Training Program: Uzu is eligible for our Jindo Journey Grant Stipend, which covers 2 professional training sessions to support a smooth transition into their forever home.
