While we were originally told he was about 1½ years old, our vet believes Utz is likely closer to 5–7 years, and honestly, that just means more wisdom packed into a tiny, adorable body.<br/><br/>Utz is a true sweetheart and a certified Velcro dog. He bonds quickly, settles in easily, and just wants to be near his person. He’s already sleeping in his volunteer pal’s bed, is crate trained, and is doing great learning leash walking and housebreaking. Most importantly, he’s learning how to be a dog, something he likely never had the chance to do before.<br/><br/>Despite snowy weather limiting outdoor play, Utz has shown himself to be an easy, gentle boy with a calm presence and a loving heart. He’s quiet, sensitive, and happiest in a peaceful environment where he can feel safe and adored.<br/><br/>Utz would do best in a quiet home without young children, with someone who appreciates a soft, loyal companion who just wants to share life by your side.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow with a heart of gold, Utz may be your perfect match. <br/><br/>He will come vaccinated, neutered, 4dx tested and microchipped.
