UT/Echo's Story

Echo is a 2-year old Brittany who is a true puppy at heart. He is a very loving boy who likes to cuddle and gets very silly when he is excited. He is also very good on walks.

Echo needs a home with very patient and dog-savvy people because he came from a rough situation. He is still learning how to be on his best behavior, with his foster family working with him on potty and kennel training. Echo appears to be afraid of the dark as he gets very anxious outside when the sun is down. He is fine inside at night and likes to sleep in his parents’ bedroom. Echo needs a home that has someone at home most of the time due to his separation anxiety. The ideal home would include a strong female presence as he is timid around males. Echo may need a little extra work but he is absolutely worth it, he is the sweetest boy and would make a great companion.

Echo will need a home with a yard that has a 6 foot privacy fence so he can safety run zoomies and hang out in the sun. He also needs an owner who can provide extra time and attention to his training and understands the exercise needs of a young Brittany and can take him on daily walks/runs. Echo does great with other dogs and having a companion dog in the home is preferred as that presence would do a lot to make him feel comfortable. Echo is also good with mature, dog-savvy children.

Echo is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.00. If you are interested in making Echo a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give him, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab. If interested, contact Patti at 801.641.4053 after completing an application. A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs. We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
