Ursula's Story

The One Where Ursula Finds A Family

A litter of pit bull/poodle mix puppies came to North Paw as owner surrenders at the beginning of October. Well, actually, they’re pit bull/staffordshire terrier/poodle/shih tzu and a little bit of several other breeds. Whatever they are, these pups are adorable and looking for forever homes now.

Ursula is perhaps the most well-rounded of our Friends pups but she also has a bit of an identity crisis sometimes. Or maybe she’s her own evil twin?

Sometimes she’s a perfectly well-behaved little girl. Sometimes she’s an utter menace. Sometimes she’s both at almost the exact same time. In other words, she’s a puppy still learning about the world and her place in it.

Ursula loves playing, by herself or with others. She’s very fond of jumping and a little too fond of biting right now but she’ll learn soon enough that that is not the best way to make friends. Cuddles are a great way to make friends though and she does love being held. Air jail for biting may not be a deterrent for this little lady! In addition to learning that friends are not for biting Ursula is also hard at work on her potty training.

Ursula's adoption fee is $700! This adoption fee includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think she may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Chili, NY.
