Uno's Story

Uno is a one‐year‐old Lab mix with a naturally affectionate spirit and a warm, friendly presence. Weighing around 45-50 pounds, he has that wonderful balance of youthful energy and a calm, steady temperament. Uno gets along well with other dogs but is just as comfortable being the only dog in the home, soaking up all the attention. He is crate trained, about 80 percent house trained, and already has a solid foundation that makes continued training easy and enjoyable.

On the leash, Uno shows light pulling, but with consistency he'll quickly grow into a polite walker. He travels beautifully in the car, making him a great candidate for outings, road trips, or weekend adventures. Uno seems to do well with kids, though his behavior with cats is still unknown. His adaptable nature means he could thrive in either a house or an apartment, making him a versatile companion for a variety of families or lifestyles.

Though Uno may look like a classic black dog--sometimes overlooked simply because his appearance is "common"--his personality truly sets him apart. He's friendly, responsive, eager to learn, and deeply connected to his people. Uno is the kind of dog who quietly wins hearts with his sweetness and loyalty, proving that sometimes the most unassuming dogs turn out to be the most extraordinary companions. He's ready for a family who will appreciate the wonderful dog he already is and help him grow into his fullest potential.

Interested in meeting Uno?
