Uncle's Story
Meet Uncle! 🐾

Uncle is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 11 pounds. This little guy was sadly found in a hoarding situation alongside his sister, where it appears he received very little human attention. His sister has already found her forever family, and now it's Uncle's turn!

Because of his past, Uncle can be shy and timid when meeting new people and may be nervous at first but comes around once he knows he is safe. Watching his confidence grow is incredibly rewarding.

Once he feels comfortable, Uncle absolutely loves human companionship. He's the perfect lap-sized pup and is happiest curled up on his person's lap soaking up affection. He also loves toys and enjoys spending time playing and exploring.

Uncle will need slow introductions to new dogs, but once he settles in, he co-exists well with the dogs in his foster home, ranging from 10 to 60 pounds. He is doing great with potty training, rides well in the car, and especially enjoys sitting on the lap of the 9-year-old while riding in the car.

Crate training is coming along, even though he is not a big fan of them, but he is learning. Given his history, it's likely that confinement can be scary for him.

Uncle has already overcome so much in his young life. Now all he needs is a family willing to give him a chance. In return, you'll gain a loyal little companion who is ready to discover what it means to be truly loved. ❤️

Could you be the one to give Uncle his happily ever after?
