Meet TYSON, a year old Retriever available for adoption at the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH. TYSON showed up at Twin Pines Campground in Freeport without a reservation, camper, or even a back up plan before landing at the pound. After waiting the required 3 day stray hold, it became clear that nobody was coming for him so its time for TYSON to join a new family. Frankly, its a mystery to everyone who meets him that he was left to fend for himself. Basically, TYSON is a giant sized teddy bear. Hes a big boy and hes strong, but hes also sweet, gentle, and full of love. He could use a little work on his leash mannershe sometimes gets confused and thinks he asked you to go for a walk and not the other way around, but hes eager to please and listens well. This friendly pooch has never met a stranger. People? Friends. Kids? Friends. Other dogs? Also friends. Cats? Unknown at this time. If theres fun to be had, TYSON wants in on it. He uses the doggy door and keeps his kennel clean...unless you count the occasional toy explosion or blanket remodeling project. Lets just say TYSON sometimes has strong opinions about interior decorating.
