At 7 years old, Tyson has mastered the art of enjoying the good life — sunshine on his face, his favorite people by his side, and a beautiful view to take in. This sweet, snuggly boy transitioned into his foster home with ease and has been showing everyone just how wonderful he is. Tyson loves people and is happiest when he’s right next to them, soaking up affection and cuddling the day away. He has a medium-to-low energy level and doesn’t need to be on the go all the time. In fact, one of his favorite pastimes is simply taking in the view. His foster says, “I have never seen a dog stop and appreciate sights as much as Tyson!” On walks, he’ll happily sit on a bench and admire the scenery, and at home, you may find him sitting by the window watching the birds go by. Tyson has also been a wonderful foster companion. He did great with his foster sister and was sunbathing alongside her right away. He is very neutral around other dogs; he doesn’t have much interest in playing, but he’s perfectly happy to share their company. He’s potty trained, hasn’t shown any resource guarding or destructive behaviors, and rides well in the car — what more could you ask for? While Tyson is an easygoing guy, he does have a prey drive, so he should go to a home without cats or livestock. If your idea of a perfect dog is a sweet, mellow companion who will happily explore the world with you, find the sunniest spot in the house, and then curl up beside you for a long cuddle, Tyson might just be your guy.
