Tyson's Story

🐾Meet Tyson🐾 Tyson is a 1 year old, American Staffordshire Terrier. He is ready to find his furever family! Tyson is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, is microchipped, and neutered. He came to us from Evansville Animal Care & Control (Official) where he was found as a stray and never returned. While we don't know much about this guy's past, it certainly seems like he was shown love at some point. He is the goodest of boys! He knows how to sit and shake, is great on a leash, and is just a happy, playful boy! He is happy-go-lucky and friendly. We haven't introduced him to any other dogs directly yet, but he has no problems with them through the kennels. He also does a great job keeping his kennel clean. He seems like he would do well with kids as well! Anyone interested would be more than welcome to bring any other dogs or kids along to meet him. Warrick Humane Society's Adoption Policy

The Warrick Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by WHS, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners. We do not adopt out dogs or cats that will be kept outside. We only want loving indoor homes for our pets. We do thorough checks on all of our potential adopters before sending them to their fur-ever home. We also require that if you adopt a pet from us and are no longer able to keep it that it be returned to us, so that we can find it a new home.
