***Please be aware we require that all dog adopters live within 50 miles from our facility. We will not respond to any inquiries or applications from anyone outside of the 50 miles. Thank you.***<br/><br/>Tyson is a handsome boy who loves to run and play. This dude wants an adventure home where he can explore, expel energy, and go places. Do not let his good looks fool you though this guy is not just a pretty face he is smart and athletic as well.<br/><br/>He can be a bit nervous when on a leash and in new situations so that combined with how smart he is we strongly suggest his new family get into training with him. It will help him build his confidence, keep his brain engaged and working, and help him bond with his new family. Tyson was an only dog in his previous home but we were told that he did attend doggy daycare so we think he will be ok having dog siblings. We do not know if he has any history with cats.<br/><br/>Tyson is a poodle so he will need lifelong grooming to keep his coat in tip top shape. His new family will need to have a grooming plan in place before adopting. If you have any questions about his grooming needs please let us know so we can talk to our in house groomer for answers.<br/><br/>Tyson is around 3 years old as of 2/27/26.<br/><br/>If you would like to meet this special dog, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to get more information. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately.<br/><br/>Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered.<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $250 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each dog based on personality and temperament, not breed label.
