Tyson's Story

Meet Tyson!

Tyson is a 3-year-old Staffy mix with a big heart and even bigger snuggles to give. Weighing in at a solid 73 lbs, he’s a sweet, goofy guy who was sadly left behind when his previous family moved away. Tyson spent nearly two years at a sanctuary before finding his way into a loving foster home—and now he’s ready for his forever.

Tyson’s Best Qualities:

Cuddle Champion: Tyson’s love language is definitely touch—he’ll soak up every belly rub and snuggle session he can get.

People-Oriented: He’s extremely affectionate and social with people. He wants to be wherever his humans are.

Mellow Vibes: With mild energy and a laid-back personality, Tyson’s content to chill out after a short walk or lounge around the house.

Mindful and Goofy: He’s equal parts thoughtful and silly—sweetly aware of his surroundings, but never above a goofy grin to melt your heart.

Potty and Crate Trained: Already housebroken and crate trained, he’s got the basics down.

A Few Things to Note:

Tyson has the capability to get along with dogs outside of the home with proper introduction. In the home he would thrive as the only pup. He has moderate anxiety, but doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety. He’s still building confidence out in the world and would benefit from slow dog socialization over time.

While we’re not sure how he is with cats or kids, he’s been very respectful and quiet indoors.

Tyson’s Dream Home:

Tyson is currently doing great in a single-story home with a small yard. He’s pretty flexible with energy levels around him and would do well in a calm or moderately active home. His ideal match? A person or family looking for a loyal, low-maintenance cuddle buddy who’s happy just to be near his people.

If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion who’s been patiently waiting for his second chance—Tyson might just be your guy.

My adoption fee is $250, which covers my first-year vaccinations, spay, and microchip.
