Tyson's Story
From his foster family:

Tyson came to me in the beginning of January for what was supposed to be just a weekend . He was to be euthanized within the hour so I was asked if I could take him. I adopted a pitbull about a year ago and I was not sure how they would get along. That weekend has now turned into 3.5 months. Not only was it a “lady and the tramp”moment for Tyson and my dog, but we too fell in love with him. When you look into his eyes, you can see into his soul, which by the way is endless.

He is one of the sweetest goofiest, most lovable pups you could ever have. All he wants is to be close to you and be loved by you. In return, you will get a companion who is eager to please, loving & your right hand man . Tyson is the kind of dog that understands your emotions and responds accordingly.

He adores my husband (and my husband adores him) and we love our family walks .

Tyson is a strong young dog with a lot of energy. He loves to go on walks, but he also loves the backyard. He’s happy to curl up on the sofa with you or go for a car ride. He does need an owner who is willing to work with him and be patient but the rewards far out weigh his young behavior. If Tyson has had an active day, he pretty turns himself in by around 6:30pm, however he is always up for an adventure, another walk around the block or a romp in the backyard. (Or whatever you’re up for!)

We recommend older kids just due to his size and puppy-like nature. No cats. He would love a fur sibling who is comparable to his size (he is 65 lbs). We don't think small dogs are a fit for him.

He is located in Birmingham, MI right now!
