Tyra's Story

Have you ever thought, “I really wish I had a buddy in the bathroom”? Or maybe you’ve wanted someone to help you stay accountable by “taste testing” when you cook a little too much. Perhaps you’ve dreamed of a heated eye mask. Well… meet Tyra, because this tiny girl is ready to be all of that and more.

Tyra is a 4 month old spunky shadow who believes personal space is a myth. If you think she’s close, she’s positive she can get closer. She’s happiest glued to her people and is hoping her forever family might be you.

Because she’s smaller than a house cat, the world can feel a little scary, and right now she expresses that by telling you all about it. She’ll need a home ready to help her build confidence and continue her training so she can grow into her bravest, best self.

Tyra is working hard on potty training, thriving on a schedule, and learning to sleep in her kennel at night. She currently lives with a dog, a cat, and a kiddo—she loves everyone, but she’d prefer a home without cats. Trust her, she’s convinced they’re up to something. Dog savvy kids are best since she’s still learning manners and believes kisses are a love language.

If you’ve got confidence to spare and want a devoted best friend who will follow you anywhere, Tyra is your girl.

Tyra has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
