Tyke's Story

Tyke came to Bonaparte's because he had a terrible injury in his hind leg where he was shot and needed an amputation. The leg was fractured but there were also bullet fragments trying to push themselves out.

Tyke has since had the amputation and healed beautifully and we have discovered what a love this guy is...truly the perfection definition of a gentle giant. He is great with cats, good with little dogs, good with kids and all people. He does seem to have a bit of separation anxiety which can cause him to sometimes have an accident in the house but we are working on it and paper towels are his fave when his foster is gone so those would need to be out of reach-but really with how just perfect this guy is that is an easy fix in a home! Other than that he is house broken and just truly perfection!
