I am neutered and have no health problems.<br/> Mom says the staffordshire really shines through. I’m either napping or going 100 mph. My favorite thing to do is to go swimming. Next up on my favorite list is going for car rides (I travel really well) and going on walks. My favorite yard game is “go fast” - where I just zoom around the yard and swing remarkably close to my humans- just for fun. <br/>I know sit, stay, wait, kennel, climb (place), jump, cookie (another favorite), give me your hand (shake) , “I need your neck” (for collars and leashes), and “go to bed”. My “come” response needs work but my “center” is strong. That’s just more fun I guess. And I am learning to heel. <br/>I’m a duvet diva. I like my blankets - what can I say? I enjoy relaxed cuddles and naps. I am not a lap cuddler. I prefer to rest my head on your lap, or just be beside you. <br/>Things you should know: I am dog reactive. This really became a thing after another dog pushed me away from my mom. Then the owner of that dog thought having us fight would fix it. It did just opposite. Mom and I have been working on unwinding this ever since. I live at home with two other dogs. I’ve known them since I was just a puppy. We get along pretty well. Sometimes I forget though. Ive gone after them a few times - usually when they push into my space too much or crowd me at meal time. When this happens, it’s like I black out and don’t know what I’m doing. Afterwards, I don’t understand why mom is upset and the other dog is scared of me. For this reason, I’m best suited being the only dog in your home. And I’d like a yard too. I would not be a good apartment dog. <br/>My mom and I love doing things together, and she’s been my only mom. She says she doesn’t want to see me go but she’s afraid that I’ll forget again and fight and it could end up hurting my new human baby sister. I don’t want to do that. She’s so tiny and I love her. <br/>Please, if you have a place in your home and heart for me, let us know.
