Tygren's Story
Meet Tygren! A 1.5-year-old Pomeranian/Husky/Terrier mix available for adoption at CCHS! Tygren is a quiet guy who prefers to take it slow when meeting new people. You might want to come and meet him twice to give him a chance to show you his true self. Once he relaxes with you, you'll see what a great dog he is! Tygren loves going for walks and light jogs, does great in a car, and enjoys a nice pup cup on his day out. If you're looking for a new best friend, don't pass Tygren by.

Tygren is a VOLUNTEER FAVORITE pet! Here's what dog socializing volunteer, Michelle, has to say about him:
"Tygren must be best buddies with Tigger as this is the song I imagine them signing together, 'The Wonderful thing about Tiggers, is Tiggers are wonderful things, tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms are made out of springs, their bouncey, trouncey, ouncey, pouncey fun, fun, fun, fun, fun'. Just like Tigger, Tygren is filled with lots of happy energy, is a little mischievous and has an abundance of love to give. This is a dog that once couldn't be coaxed out of his kennel, now I fight off the kisses!! I love taking him out for walks that are filled with hops, skips and spins. Its time to find him a home!"

To apply for Tygren, please submit an online dog application through our website at cuhumane.org. THEN either call the shelter at 217-344-7297 or contact us via email at adoption@cuhumane.org to let us know you have submitted the application and would like for us to begin processing it.
