Meet Twyla! She was rescued from BARC (where she came in as a stray) just in the knick of time. She is 9 months old and is an Italian Greyhound mix. She is 21 pounds of all energy, exploring her new world and learning how to be a family dog. She has a beautiful, soft, shiny coat. She is smart and hasn’t had an accident inside yet. She is food motivated, making her good for training and correcting. She is working on crate training, which is good at night, but she doesn’t like to be left out of any activities during the day and lets us know it. She is very sweet, and loves humans, including our 8 year old daughter, although sometimes it takes her a few minutes to warm up. She is scheduled to be spayed on February 13 and will be ready for a new home or foster. She would do best with someone who wants an active dog and can put in the time to show her all the fabulous things about life off the streets!
