Twix

Twix is a sweet, adventurous, and very cuddly 5-year-old girl looking for her forever home. Despite her past as a puppy mill mama she has fully come out of her shell and is very social in her foster home. She's friendly, would love a canine playmate her size, and would be good with kids 6+. We just don't know about cats as she hasn't met any and does have a prey drive.<br/>Twix loves leashed walks, outdoor adventures (kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking), and playing with squeaky toys in the back yard. After torpedo zoomies in the back yard or a morning walk, she is very happy to snuggle next to her foster mom while she works. She loves following her person around the house, being picked up and carried like a baby. A true snuggle bug! <br/>Twix also does very well in her crate with a treat and has been left alone without any issues for up to 6 hours - although she needs a potty break if you're gone any longer. She does need regular potty breaks when out of the crate to prevent occasional accidents in the house. This funny girl will do handstands when going potty on leashed walks and then walk on her back legs once she is done. Twix is curious and likes to explore - and she'll occasionally steal items like laundry or blankets. <br/>Twix is such a fun and loving dog and would make a great companion, she just wants to go wherever her person is going. That being said, she does get underfoot and could be a tripping hazard. She would love to have a playmate her size (she is cautious and unsure of big dogs). Because she's also excitable and mouthy with toys, children in her home do need to be at least 6 years old. <br/>Twix is spayed and vaccinated, and her adoption fee will be $400.
