Meet Twix! This handsome Bully boy has already overcome so much. Found tied to a pole as a very young pup, Twix was lucky enough to be spotted by a Good Samaritan who took him in and helped him find his way to rescue. Since then, he has shown everyone what a wonderful dog he is...vibrant, affectionate, smart, and eager to be part of a family.<br/><br/>Twix is currently living with Seasoned fosters, Laura and Brian, along with their resident dog, Buddy. Before coming to the DC metro area, he lived happily in a home with four other dogs and has consistently shown that he enjoys canine companionship. He loves being part of a pack.<br/><br/>This playful, social guy thrives in an active environment and especially enjoys rough-and-tumble play. He would do best with a medium-energy dog his size or larger who enjoys playing and can match his fun-loving style. That said, Twix is also perfectly capable of entertaining himself and settling down when it’s time to relax. He'd be fine as an only dog too.<br/><br/>FOSTER MOM UPDATE<br/><br/>Laura shared, “Twix is doing great! He settled into our home quickly and has been a joy to have around. He has done a great job acclimating to our dog, Budd,y and enjoys playing chase, tug-of-war, and showing off his goofy personality. When he’s not playing, he’s happy to lounge, entertain himself with toys, and hang out while his foster mom works from home. He’s a sweet boy who loves belly rubs, meeting new people, and occasionally “talking” to let you know what he’s thinking, which is absolutely adorable."<br/><br/>*******<br/><br/>Twix is a smart and adaptable pup who is eager to please. He is housetrained, crate-trained, and working on his basic commands. He rides well in the car, enjoys meeting new people and dogs, and has made progress with his leash skills through training. He is very treat-motivated, which makes him a quick learner and a fun dog to train.<br/><br/>We believe Twix will thrive with an active family that appreciates his playful, goofy personality and is committed to providing the structure, exercise, and love he needs.
