Twix's Story

Twix is a beautiful 7 year old boy who loves all the people he meets! His gorgeous fur grabs the attention of everyone around him. He is great on a leash and would do well with daily walks or runs. He does like all the attention to himself, so he's looking for a single-pet household.<br/><br/>Twix was picked up as a stray by a local shelter and adopted out. Sadly he had to be saved from that adopter who apparently began abusing him as soon as he got Twix. The rescue came to his safety and brought him in where they had to rebuild his confidence in humans. He was much skinnier and dirty when they got him, but he's a big, happy boy now. Due to his abusive past, Twix would do best in a knowledgeable owner with no young children. <br/><br/>Twix has been with the rescue since July 2019 waiting for a family.
