Twist's Story

Hi, Im Twist. They say it was a twist of fate that brought me to Mutts and Misfits, and honestly, my life had a bit of a whirlwind vibe prior to now.

Im about four and a half years old and have spent the last three and a half years in rescue, including a year and a half with my current foster family. Weve built a pretty great life together, and Ive proven I can hang just about anywhere as long as Im with my people.

Im the kind of guy who enjoys a full calendar. Glamping trips, busy social settings, tagging along to work at doggy daycare, Im all in. Im not part of the playgroup scene, but I do run the welcome committee, and I take that role seriously. People tend to remember me.

Im affectionate, outgoing, and well-trained. Ive got good manners, and Im always up for patios, dog-friendly stores, and new adventures. I like being out in the world, but I love being close to my person even more.

I live with other dogs now and do just fine coexisting. Im not really into playing with them, but with a slow introduction, I can share my space. Im more of a people person anyway.

I do have a couple of quirks, but nothing too wild. Just enough personality to keep things interesting.

Looking for someone who enjoys a little adventure, a lot of loyalty, and a dog who will absolutely choose cuddling over everything else.
