But after a little digging, we discovered the truth—it was actually her owner who had abandoned her under false pretenses. Even more devastating, she had posted online about Twinkle’s injury but waited too long to get her proper care. By the time she came into our care, it was too late for surgery.<br/><br/>Despite that neglect, Twinkle has held onto her spirit. She has hind leg paresis, meaning she has partial mobility—not full paralysis.
