Meet Twinkie! He was surrendered to the shelter on 4/23, along with his besties Hershey & Roxi. Sadly, their family lost their home and they didn't want their fur kids to suffer being homeless. Their former family did note that all the dogs are house-trained, good with children, and good with other dogs. That is great news! The volunteers describe all three dogs as sweet, but terrified in the loud overwhelming shelter environment. They know how to sit and lay down nicely when asked. Twinkie is the shyest of the three and could use some extra love and reassurance. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be microchipped upon adoption.
