From the moment he arrived, it was clear that he's a kind, affectionate boy who just wants to feel safe and loved!<br/><br/>Twiggy has congenital small eyes (microphthalmia) and cataracts, so his vision is reduced, though he does still have some sight. Due to this, he can be a little shy in new environments, but don't let that fool you! Twiggy does an amazing job navigating the world using his nose and by taking cues from the people around him. With a calm presence, soft voices, and patient handling, he blossoms. Once he feels comfortable, he's happy to accept treats and enjoy gentle companionship. A predictable environment and steady guidance help him feel confident and secure.<br/><br/>Twiggy is incredibly loving. He enjoys being near his people, often wagging his tail and quietly soaking up their company. He finds comfort in soft, cozy warm beds and areas where he can relax and feel at ease! Twiggy would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can move at his own pace and know he's safe. In return, he offers darling devotion and a unique friendship. This sweet gentleman deserves a loving home where he can settle in and be cherished for the wonderful dog he is!
