I'm a cute Chihuahua. at 4 years old and weigh 5.7 lbs
It took me a while to get used to normal every day life with my foster family.
I would be scared of everything and peed every time anyone looked at me or came near me.

I was brought to a vet clinic to be euthanized as I was under socialized and was not receptive at meeting people I didn't know. I wasn't socialized with other pets and really, didn't even know how to walk on a leash. I've never been walked before. I belonged to a senior lady and when she passed away her son inherited me and safe to say, he didn't want me. I was scared of him and would run away from men in general. I would bark none stop to keep him away from me. Since I was so scared, I would pee from nervousness. He got so sick and tired of my behavior, he brought me to the vet to be euthanized. It was also noted that at some point, someone hit me so hard, I lost my front teeth. No wonder I used to be so scared of men.

Over the course of a year, my foster parent helped me learn to walk on a leash, potty train me, co exist with men in the home, learn to like other dogs and cats, train me out of my separation anxiety and to stop hiding in the closet. I know my basic commands now and sit readily for a treat.
Now my foster parent can even pick me up and I give her kisses. I still get nervous sometimes and do tinkle if lifted off the ground. She helped nurse me when 14 teeth had to be removed. I feel so much better and less nippy like I was when I first arrived a year ago. Thank goodness I didn't lose the important teeth to chew. I can do it without too much trouble,

Its been a year with my foster home, I am finally ready to be a nice pet in a home with my "Wish List" criteria.
-----------

My wish list:

Chihuahua breed experience
Patience and experience with rescue dogs.
Training experience
I prefer an all adult home
Fully fenced backyard
Flexible work schedule
No big dogs for me
