Tweety's Story

Tweety - Pitty Mix - Female - 2 yrs - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Tweety: this gorgeous Pitty Mix girl could have been called "lucky" - she was found abandoned by one of our fosters and taken in. After no owner was found, she was fully vetted and integrated into the household. She is young and sweet, loves playing with the fosters families other dogs and enjoys hanging out with the HighSchool aged kids. She is respectful of items left on counters IF not left unattended for too long, she is quickly learning to copy the resident dogs and well, they are less respectful. Tweety is a genuine sweetheart and according to her foster family: "the only thing bigger than her ears is her heart"

Tweety is crate trained, rides well in the car and is working on leash manners. She is looking for a home where she can be part of the family, she can be left alone crated, but it's not her favorite. Lounging on the sofa or playing ball with the kids or other dogs ranks much higher.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
