Tweed's Story

Meet Tweed!

Tweed is a 2-year-old Terrier with a sweet spirit, a playful side, and a bright future ahead of her! She is currently thriving in the Puppies for Parole program and is set to graduate on June 12th.

This adorable girl absolutely LOVES being outside. Whether she's exploring the yard, soaking up the sunshine, or playing with her dog friends, Tweed is happiest when she has room to stretch her legs and enjoy the fresh air.

Because Tweed can be a flight risk when frightened or unsure, she will require a securely fenced yard in her forever home to keep her safe.

Tweed has been working hard on her training and is making wonderful progress. She understands commands like "No," "Yes," and "Stop," and she's currently learning how to sit politely for attention, tolerate grooming, and confidently greet new people. One of her biggest accomplishments has been learning to overcome her fear of crowds and unfamiliar people. Every day, her confidence grows a little more.

She gets along great with other dogs and has made several friends in the training program. She loves to roll around, play chase, and enjoy the company of her canine buddies.

A few things about Tweed:
Graduates Puppies for Parole on June 12
Doing well with potty training
Dog-friendly
Loves being outdoors
Sweet and gaining confidence every day
Requires a securely fenced yard

Tweed is looking for a patient family that will continue helping her blossom into the confident, happy dog she's becoming.
