Tux's Story

Tux here!! Guess what?! I'm finally in Wisconsin, and man, it's great! I get to live in a house with other dogs, and after being left on the side of the road as a pup, this is amazing!! I'm one of four dogs in my foster home and I love all three of the others! I'm the smallest at about 30 pounds and the youngest at 8 months old, but that doesn't stop me from having fun with the big dogs! I'm very respectful and listen when they tell me they need their space. I have also gotten along with all dogs I've met so far and I LOVE kids! They're just so fun! My foster mom says there's these little animals called cats, but I've never met them, so I'm not really sure what they're all about. My foster home is filled with lots of fun toys, and I have no problem entertaining myself. Stuffies, chewies, bones...you name it! I love them all!!
Loud noises are proving to be a bit scary, but my foster mom says I'm a brave boy and don't need to be afraid. I tend to be a bit shy around new people, but I open up rather quickly, once I know they're safe. I'm working hard on my potty training and do really well when kept on a schedule. I'm quiet in my crate through the night and even snuggle up in it sometimes during the day. It's so cozy in there!
I'm on the hunt for my forever home and would love to meet you!! If you're interested, my foster mom says you should visit our Sandi Paws website and submit an application! How exciting would it be to spend the rest of forever together?! I can't wait to meet you!!

Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at https://www.sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt. You can find information for volunteering and donations on our site as well.
