Tuscon's Story

Tuscon is now available for adoption! This sweet, senior boy is dog, cat, and kid friendly. Although he was most recently picked up as a stray in Speedway, his microchip is originally from IACS. We contacted them and found out he is approximately 9 years old, based on when he first came to them. He is 60 lbs. <br/><br/>Tuscon is a sweet boy who has a little bit of separation anxiety. While he may be happiest in a home where humans are around frequently, he does well in a crate and settles down shortly after the foster leaves for work. He is both crate-trained and potty-trained. <br/><br/>He has had a full dental and two masses removed, as well as blood work. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Speedway Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

All of our dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and tested for heartworm. To adopt a dog from us, you will be required to complete an adoption application. When your completed application is returned to us, we will conduct a criminal background check, verify home ownership or landlord permission, check with any veterinary references and conduct a home check. We do not have a shelter. All of our dogs are in foster homes. Please call us to make an appointment to meet one of our adoptable dogs.
