Tuscany's Story
Tuscany was a typical rural Alabama dog- found tossed out on a country road. Our rescue partner there, Free State Four Paws, scooped sweet Tuscany up and she trucked it all the way to Portland, Oregon for a chance at a better life and a loving person to take a fancy to her.

Tuscany is approximately 2 years old and 43lbs. She gets along great with other dogs and actually, a playful, friendly dog buddy would be ideal for her in her new home. Tuscany can be shy but she is a nice girl and will reward you with companionship if you give her time to warm up initially. Tuscany also lives with a cat who is confident with dogs and Tuscany is respectful of the cat. A shy cat that runs might be enticing to chase, but so far so good with Tuscany and the cat in her foster home.

Tuscany is a more mellow girl who is happy to chill around the house, go out and play in the backyard and then tinker around the house. We would like Tuscany to go to a home with a fenced backyard. The idea of going for walks is growing on Tuscany and she is getting gradually more adventurous. She is not destructive in the home and has been able to be left unkenneled. She lives with another large, older dog in her foster home but she has been fast friendly with rambunctious younger dogs too.

Tuscany will need some continued structure and work on her potty training. She tends to have pee accidents in her foster home and her foster mom is working very hard to get her dialed in with that.

Tuscany is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped (it is free to register!) heart worm tested negative, dewormed and is current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

$350 adoption fee
Fostered in Portland, OR

SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AT: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG
