Meet Turkey!<br/><br/>Turkey is one of our longest shelter residents! He is a Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix that is around 8-9 years old. He originally found his way to us as a stray in 2019. <br/><br/>Turkey is an active and smart boy! His favorite hobbies include running the fence line in the play yards to "race" neighboring dogs on the other side, swimming in baby pools, walking in the creek at the park, or going on outings to go hiking. Turkey knows basic commands, such as "sit" and "give paw," and he walks well on a leash. With time and patience, Turkey is very loving and faithful to his people. It can take Turkey some time to show you his true affectionate side, but after a few visits and understanding he can trust you, Turkey will be your loyal sidekick! Due to Turkey being in the shelter for some time, he may require more than one meet and greet with an approved potential adopter. Turkey must be the only animal in the home, but will fill your home with laughter and loyalty!
