Meet Turkey :<br/><br/>Turkey wants what every dog wants-a safe and comfortable home where he can be loved. Türkey is estimated to be 7-8 years old and is most likely a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He found his way to us as a stray and was never re-claimed. Turkey is an active and incredibly smart boy who likes to run in the yard, go on hiking outings/rides, pool time, and cuddles. Turkey knows basic commands, such as sit, give paw, talk (aka speak) and walks well on a leash. He is a very loyal and loving boy with time and patience and would be most comfortable in an adult-only home. He can experience nervousness around new people. Within our community, he has grown leaps and bounds. He has shown that he is a fun, loving pup. He has enjoyed meeting new people with the comfort of his person and commands given by them. Turkey will flourish where he can be the only pet but seems to enjoy learning and meeting at his pace and with time and patience.
