Turk's Story

TURK, an energetic 3-year-old shepherd mix, has been an outdoor dog most of his life. He’s wary of people but not at all aggressive. He just barks and backs away when you enter his pen to feed him or give him fresh water. He could be a good choice for someone who is just looking for a watch dog to alert them to approaching people. But we also think he could learn to trust people if someone spends time working with him. <br/><br/>Turk is healthy, up to date on vaccinations and neutered and gets along with other dogs. We’re waiving our adoption fee in hopes of finding him a home. If you’re interested, please email us for an application.
