Then say hello to Tulsi!

Tulsi is a fun, active, and loving girl who believes life is meant to be enjoyed! Give her a fenced-in yard and some doggie friends, and she is in her happy place. She loves to run, pounce, wrestle, romp, and play until she’s gotten all those wiggles out. Then, just like that, it’s time to switch gears and hang out with her favorite humans.

Tulsi seems to know her name already, and she’s one smart cookie, especially when treats are involved! Basic obedience classes would be a great way for her to learn some new commands and polish up her manners. Since she is very food motivated, we’re pretty sure she’ll be sitting in the front row, raising her paw and going for that A+!

Because Tulsi can get a little excited and jumpy when she’s having fun, older kids would be the best fit for this enthusiastic girl.

But Tulsi isn’t all zoomies and wrestling! She is incredibly loving with her humans and, after a good day of playing, is more than happy to chill out and enjoy some quality time with her people.

And can we talk about all the adventures waiting for this girl? Tulsi would LOVE an active family who will take her on hikes, explore the outdoors, and show her all the wonderful things the North has to offer. Imagine her watching the colorful leaves fall this autumn...and then seeing SNOW for the very first time! We have a feeling those first snow zoomies are going to be pretty spectacular!

Tulsi is ready for a family who will give her adventure, structure, playtime, patience, and lots and lots of love. In return, you’ll get a happy, affectionate girl who will keep you laughing, moving, and smiling.

Let’s find Tulsi that fun, active forever family so she can start making memories of her very own!

If interested in Tulsi, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at: Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.

Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination.
All routine annual vaccinations, including
Rabies, DHLPP
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Heartworm Test
Fecal Test, Deworming
Microchip
Flea and Tick Prevention
Heartworm Prevention.
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. Fetching Hearts Rescue's Adoption Policy
Apply for any of our dogs: https://www.fetchingheartsrescue.org/adoption-form-online Our team of screeners will process you application once received. This process typically takes a couple days to a week. Once processed, you will hear back from one of our team members regarding your approval status & next steps. The next steps typically involve scheduling a meet and greet if the dog is already in the state, or informing you of the transport process, date & what to expect. If all goes well during your meet & greet you will be able to take home your new family member. All meet and greets are held with the intention of adoption, but only if you and the foster agree that the dog is a good match for you and your family. We ask that you come to the meet and greet or transport day with a leash, collar, name tag (even with just your information on it, if you don't know a name yet), water, a few biscuits, and maybe a blanket or bed for the car ride home. If your dog has any special food, toys, a bed etc., the foster or volunteer will provide these to you. They will also have the dog's medical records and will review these with you before handing them off.
