Tulsa's Story

Tulsa is an incredibly sweet, gentle, girl. She loves attention and walks, playing with friends, getting brushed, eating treats, chewing on bones, and just about everything else. She is a bit nervous about new things and strange sounds but having an outgoing canine friend helps her to feel more brave. She has a short nub tail that is always wagging in anticipations, and soft fluffy fur. She seems to be a cattle dog mix, possibly with Pyrenees, but she's built more like a stocky cattle dog.
Tulsa has been walked by older kids and liked them once she saw that they came with pockets full of treats. Because of her shyness, she would probably be best in a home with quieter kids and a dog friend. She is good pals with Ziggy, who is also available for adoption, but she likes most dogs she meets.
Tulsa doesn't tend to jump and doesn't tug on the leash. She will stop if something scares her. but because of her gentle nature, she would likely also do well with a senior who is looking for a dog who won't pull.
Tulsa is looking for a quiet, patient home with gentle training techniques. She may need help with potty training, but she knows sit and is very treat motivated and loves praise.
