Tulip Marie

ulip Marie is here in the East Bay and she is looking for so much love! This sweet beauty is possibly a Poodle/Terrier mix. That's what we were told by the surrendering party. She was being given away to "First come first served!" Ummm.....we couldn't sit back and let that happen so with the help of Aunt M. We secured this sweet and desperate baby girl. She's around 3 months old and weighs only 3 pounds. She's very under weight and had white paint all over her. She was covered in fleas and was scared. Her nails were as long as talons. She got a bath, fur and nails trim, shots, and all the things. She's currently being massaged and held and shown all the love. She is just eating it up. <br/>Tulip Marie will need to start everything from scratch. She was kept in the backyard and was not taken care of. She has learned to trust and absolutely loves being held and carried around. She would scream when we first started picking her up. She had never been around other dogs, it seems. She would run away and hide. Not anymore. She's gaining her confidence and now likes other gentle doggies. She is learning everything from the ground up and will need love and guidance. We think she is straight perfection! Her foster home lives on a very quiet street, so she will need help with learning loud noises like buses or motorcycles, etc. She has been exposed to many fireworks since she's being fostered in Oakland, California. She loves to jump up now and get the attention she deserves. She wants to be seen now and doesn't hide anymore. <br/>Tulip Marie enjoys being brushed gently. She also likes to listen to music. She doesn't really have a preference in music, but she has been listening to some salsa music and she also loves pop music and jazz, so far. She is open to different music selections. She just wants to be happy! <br/>Tulip loves her new outlook on life. It was a lil bumpy there for a minute, but she wants to leave all that stuff in the dust!
