Tulip #257's Story

Hello Everyone! My name is Tulip and I’m a beautiful, mellow, calm and very loving senior Bichon mix who weighs almost 10 pounds and is a real “girlie girl!” My foster Mom says that I simply love people! I’m fond of men, women and the little ones called children! Why, I think everyone I meet is going to be my new best friend. I greet everyone with kisses and lots of tail wags and if you let me on your lap I'm ready for a cuddle or two (or more!) I like my new home and have quickly become very comfortable in my new surroundings. I do sleep a lot in my nice comfy bed on the floor in the family room. I am however, very friendly and like to sit on my foster Mom's lap and cuddle. I am not afraid of men and am friendly with them also. I am a quiet Pup and rarely bark. Of course, I'm housebroken, sleep quietly through the night and I want to please, always. Mom says I’m a thinker who figures things out quickly. I'm really very smart because I really don't see so good so I have to remember where everything is in the house and the yard. I really like walks, but don't do well on a leash (don't see so good). They think I don't hear so good either but I always hear when it's time for dinner. My Foster mom says I am the easiest dog to take care of and because I am so friendly and have such a sweet personality, I rank right up there with the best of dogs she has ever had. So, if you are looking for that special girl, look no further...here I am. I have had a thorough health examination, I have a microchip, I’m spayed, and I will have a dental cleaning before you adopt me. Please consider me to come into your home and make it my loving, forever home by completing an adoption application. If you would like to meet me please visit our website at www.bichonrescueoc.org and submit an application to start the adoption process! All our pups are available as long as their listing is up. The adoption process moves very quickly and most families are approved within 48 hours. The adoption procedure involves these steps: 1. Complete an online application. 2. Interview with one of our volunteers 3. Home Safety Evaluation 4. Meet and greet with the pet. 5. Adopt! Here is the direct link to our application. http://bichonrescueoc.org/adoption-application/
