Tula's Story

Hey guys, my name is Tula.

I am approx 3 yrs old, UTD on all my shots, spayed, microchipped and house/crate trained.

So, this is my story. I was found on the streets of Detroit by a lady that noticed I was struggling. I was very pregnant (with what turned out to be 12 babies). Unfortunately the babies daddy didn't stick around to help, so I had to fend for myself. It was not easy, I didn't trust anyone. But the lady stuck with me and I learned to trust her.

I had some medical issues, my foster family helped me and now i'm healthy and about 50 lbs. I'm on the shorter side and they think it's funny to tell me I look like a little piggy, bcz of the way I scoot around when I do my zoomies, oh and my snoring.

I love to take walks and I'm really good on a leash. I'll even wear a coat or sweater or even pj's if you want me too. Sometimes I get car sick, but not always. I feel really bad for that, bcz I love going for rides. I have met a cat, and with a proper introduction and supervision, I think we could be friends. I haven't been around other dogs much (my hormones were a bit crazy) so it may take a little time for me to make friends. I love all the ladies I have met, where the guys, well I think they will grow on me. I just ask for you to be patient. The little ones scare me a bit, so maybe if you have older children that will respect me, we could be great friends. I've had a rough start to life, but I am ready to move on to my next chapter. Please consider adopting me and if I don't check all your boxes, please share this post. My forever family is out there somewhere. Thank you!

Apply here to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/83264828001150
