Tucker (AKA daryl) got neutered today and is recovering well, albeit sleepily, with his foster momma. That means he is officially ready for adoption! <br/><br/>Tucker is a 3 month old chihuahua mix. Weighing in at a whopping 3 pounds 14 ounces today he is small but mighty! Tucker definitely has a little chihuahua personality. He keeps his foster momma laughing constantly with his antics. While he is incredibly sweet and snuggly, he gets big boy barks going when his zoomies kick in. And man can this boy run! Chase and tug are his favorite games in the world. He loves exploring his surroundings but does prefer to come back to the safety of his person's lap for playing with his toys and chewing his chews. Tucker is a certified lap inspector, and he has the documents to prove it, so you better get used to his presence every time you sit down. <br/>Tucker checks all the boxes! <br/>Crate trained: <br/>Potty trained: (If you pay attention to his routine. If you don't, he will poop behind your couch. Hey, that's your fault.)<br/>Leash trained: (can be skittish when scared outside so a martingale collar is highly recommended)<br/>Tucker is dog friendly, loves all people, and would likely do well with cats and kids if they are dog savvy. <br/>Tucker is inquisitive, gentle mannered, and fairly independent. He will happily entertain himself when needed. He prefers a family who loves naps as passionately as he does. He makes the absolute best nap buddy! He would love other dog siblings and isn't concerned about their size as long as they are gentle with him. A backyard would be ideal because this boy likes to run laps and will NOT use potty pads inside. <br/>Please remember a puppy is a lifelong commitment. While he is tiny and too cute for words, he will not stay a puppy. He will likely grow to around 10 pounds. He will need continued training.
