Tucker's Story

I transferred to Safe Haven from another shelter and I can be kind of scared of new people and places. When I get used to people I am all hugs and kisses, but need a little bit of time to get to that point, so I am looking for a person or family who will give me the time I need to adjust. Safe Haven's Adoption Policy
Once someone picks out a cat or a dog they would like to adopt from us, we ask them to fill out an adoption application on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. After the application is reviewed (within 1 to 2 business days) we will try to contact the applicant by calling or emailing them. If the adoption is approved, we will then try to set up a day and time that the adopters can come to the shelter to pick up their new pet! At that time we will have the new owners sign some paperwork and provide us with the adoption donation fee. The adoption donation fee for a dog is $200. The adoption donation fee for a cat is $75.
