But once you meet him, you’ll quickly realize his looks are only part of the charm—because this boy has a heart of gold! <br/><br/>Tucker was surrendered to us through no fault of his own, and we cannot understand how anyone could give up such a fantastic dog. He is incredibly sweet, housebroken, and crate trained. He gets along wonderfully with everyone and has the kind of calm, patient personality that makes him an absolute joy to be around.<br/><br/>Tucker is also fantastic with other dogs and would actually make an amazing companion for a more shut-down or nervous dog. He is patient, gentle, and seems to understand when another dog needs a little extra encouragement and space. <br/><br/>And honestly? We think Tucker could be a phenomenal service dog for the right person. He is smart, attentive, patient, and has that special kind of temperament that makes you think, "This dog was made to be somebody’s best friend."<br/><br/>Tucker may have a face that makes you say "oh, bless your heart," but once you get to know him, you’ll be saying "oh, bless MY heart—I got Tucker!" <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a sweet, well-mannered, incredibly patient dog who is ready to be someone’s loyal companion, Tucker is your guy!
