Tucker

Tucker has appointed himself the social chairman of the cowboy litter. If someone new arrives, he’s likely to be one of the first puppies headed over to investigate, say hello, and make sure he isn’t missing anything. He’s outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic about being right in the middle of whatever his people and dog friends are doing.

At about 5 months old and 37 pounds, Tucker is a Pointer/Hound mix for adoption with plenty of playful puppy energy and an especially curious mind. Toys aren’t simply toys in Tucker’s world — they’re projects. Balls and anything he can carry are particular favorites, and he’s quite happy finding new ways to entertain himself with them.

Tucker has grown up surrounded by dogs and genuinely enjoys their company, so a canine sibling would be great fun for him. He could also be happy as an only dog with people who give him plenty of interaction, exercise, play, and interesting things to do. He’s enthusiastic about greeting people and is still learning that saying hello doesn’t require jumping up to do it.

Tucker should also fit well into a working household, provided his days include the activity and enrichment a growing puppy needs. If you’re hoping to adopt a rescue dog who is social, confident, and eager to participate in family life, this fun-loving rescue dog for adoption is ready for his next adventure.

Tucker is available for transport to the Vernon, CT area, serving adopters throughout Connecticut and nearby areas. Pickup logistics are arranged at adoption.

Ready to adopt Tucker? The fastest way is to apply directly at shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ALDR/Dog.
