Walk-ins are always welcome, and our staff is happy to answer questions and guide you through the adoption process.<br/><br/> Transport & Adoption Locations<br/><br/>Lifeline of Galveston County offers transport to multiple locations across the U.S. through a trusted transport partner.<br/><br/>Available adoption states and pickup locations may include:<br/>TX, UT, ID, OR, WA, MT, CO, KS, NE, SD, OH, IN, NY, VT, CT, VA, NC, GA, and surrounding areas based on route availability.<br/><br/> Canadian adopters are welcome!<br/>Pickup must occur at a designated U.S. location (such as Bellingham, WA or the nearest available U.S. stop).<br/><br/>Our pets travel safely and comfortably on a private transport bus equipped with air conditioning, two professional drivers, and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care.
