Through no fault of his own, he is now searching for a home that can provide the structure, activity, and companionship he deserves.<br/><br/>Tsuga is a social, intelligent boy who has previously lived successfully with children and enjoys being part of the action. He has completed formal obedience training and comes with a solid foundation of skills already in place. He walks nicely on a slip lead when properly positioned and responds well to confident, consistent handling. As a strong, driven shepherd, Tsuga will benefit from an owner who is committed to maintaining his training and providing clear leadership.<br/><br/>Like many working-line shepherds, Tsuga has a strong prey drive and loves a good chase. In fact, his previous owners reported that he repeatedly chased skunks despite being sprayed directly in the face multiple times. If determination were an Olympic sport, Tsuga would be bringing home the gold medal. <br/><br/>Because of his prey drive and dog selectivity, Tsuga is looking for a home where he can be the king of the castle.
