Truman

Truman is a 3 year old Boston Terrier that weighs about 28lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention.

Truman is just like his name; he is a true gentleman. He is playful, joyful, and eager to please.

His favorite pastimes are chasing balls, chewing on Benebones and bully sticks, being in social settings, long walks, and tug of war. He loves to cuddle and snuggle underneath blankets. Truman would love a fenced in yard to play in!

Truman thrives in a calm environment. He has Addison's disease, which just means that his body doesn't make an adequate amount of steroids that he needs. This is treated by a small daily dose of prednisone, which costs about $20 per month. He should also get labwork with his annual vetting to ensure all is well.

In short, Truman is a very special dog. He is one of my favorite fosters. He deserves a loving and affectionate home, and a life of love and joy with people that he should have had from the start.

If you would like to give Truman his forever home, please submit an application at southerncrossbtr.com. The adoption fee is $375. He is being fostered in Brevard, NC. Approved adopters must be willing to travel to where the dog is being fostered in order to adopt them.

For a complete listing of all of our available Bostons, or to learn more about SCBTR, please visit our website at www.southerncrossbtr.com.
